Rocken Cuba - No Ranking

Lance King who was vocalist of Pyramaze, Avian, Empire and Balance of Power has released this album in the legendary date 11/11/11. In his 21 year career, has sung in 25 albums. It is difficult to reach a peak and impressive in itself, where the highlight is the ability of this singer to change his voice according to the intensity and feeling of the song. A man who has something special and has made a contribution in each of the disks has participated, with a versatile voice, powerful and broad tessitura.

On this record, the most attractive addition to Lance's voice and compositions are all out of league, is the fact that the singer had invited some of his musical friends to write these songs with him for what would be your solo debut. This occurred in June and for the next two months was made this record, where the quality is actually well above average and it is a work that bore who would listen.

The concept of the album is based on the concept of 11:11, which is the 11th November, if not enjoyed the fact that 75 million people around the world most affected by the news they waiting for something to happen in that time. The letters are about the search for truth through the answers to the great mysteries of the world.

The music is not reminiscent of Queensryche at the time of the Empire ("Dance of Power"), mixed with elements of Dream Theater ("Manifest Destiny"), Pagan's Mind, Anubis Gate ("Infinite divine") and Balance of Power .

There are songs that are unforgettable ("Awakening"), others are a bit dense, as the theme that gives title track, and some are a luxury of interpretation ("A sense of urgency"). "Kibou" is anything but metal, and is there to show what Lance can do with his voice, and so does "Infinite divine", that seems that this sung by two vocalists.

Produced by Kim Olesen (Anubis Gate) and Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Heathen, TYR, Amaranth, Communic, Mercenary, Onslaught, Rob Rock, Blotter Science, Raunchy, Pretty Maids, Cryoshell), the album has a modern production that results in crystalline and refined.

The album will be a delight for lovers of this music. King shows a considerable vocal talent and the sum of the musicians involved and much more than an incentive to find this record that we recommend with confidence.
